This is a grapefruit, part of the citrus fam...Hello<br />This is a grapefruit, part of the citrus family.<br />Grapefruit is a great fruit, except when mixing it with medicine. it is an inhibitor for cytochromes.<br />grapefruit and grapefruit saft has been shown to increase the plasma concentration of drugs and mess with the metabolism of many moluecules.<br />this is probably the case here. it might have something to do with the high Potassium concentration found in this fruit<br />thats my guess, am i right?RaHnoreply@blogger.com
