This is poison ivy (Toxicodendron) dermatitis caused by urushiol, the allergenic compound in poison ivy, poison oak, and poison sumac. Poison oak here has leaflets of 3. The most common presenting signs are intense pruritis and erythema with subsequent papules, vesicles, and/or bullae, often in a linear or streak-like configuration. If extensive or involving the face or genitals, systemic corticosteroids may be used.
