Britney Spears' Toxic

Challenge: What is this rash, which occurs in 31-72% of full-term infants? (I know, what kind of statistics are those? But then again, what kind of case has this title?)

Both images are in the public domain.

Britney Spears' Toxic

This is erythema toxicum neonatorum, characterized by multiple 1-3mm erythematous macules and papules rapidly progressing to pustules on an erythematous base. The lesions are distributed on the trunk and extremities, sparing the palms and soles. They typically appear within 24-48 hours and resolve in 5-7 days.
