this is a Meckel's diverticulum, a congenital embryological malformation... I'd suggest a small bowel resection as treatment.

Meckel's diverticulum. I believe it's a "true" diverticulum along with the appendix and zenker's?

Meckel’s diverticulum is the most common congenital abnormality of the GI tract, resulting from incomplete obliteration of the vitelline duct leading to a true diverticulum in the small intestine.
