Totalitarian
The EEG shows burst suppression. Patients presenting with status epilepticus can have subclinical seizures on EEG after clinical seizures have subsided. In hemodynamically stable patients, propofol or barbiturates may be used to achieve burst suppression, a clearly non-ictal pattern.
