Skin Review
The images show actinic keratoses, premalignant neoplasms of the epidermis caused by exposure to sunlight. The lesions are ill-marginated, erythematous, scaling, and rough papules or patches. They can progress to squamous cell carcinoma. Microscopically, they show non-invasive proliferation of keratinocytes.
